__Due to ongoing health issues, the Special Needs Homeschool site has not been updated. The resources here are timeless and I hope you continue to visit and share! I am hoping to get back here as soon as the dust settles to update and revive SNH. In the meantime, the SNH Facebook page and group are hopping with resources and support.

Fruit of the Spirit-FREE Christian Study for Kids, Especially Tweens
I designed the base of this lesson plan with my sister years ago for a kid's club we ran at church. Over time it evolved into a character study of sorts for my eldest son. My boys are 6 years apart so now that my youngest is ready to do this lesson, it needed updating badly! A friend was asking for a study to do with her tween and thus began the following project. I ended up redoing the whole study and directing the study to tweens although its easily adaptable for any age group. The study is very simple, about 15 minutes a day for the first week, then each lesson is once a week after that. Practice comes in daily application of everyday living. At the end of the study there are resources available with a few ideas on how to do a memorization activity daily if you prefer it. This is a CHRISTIAN study and I do mean super-Christian. Lots of Bible verses are used and reinforced with other Bible verses, with encouragement to do real life application. It begins with the gospel and flows into the Fruit of the Spirit of Galatians 5. I hope your children enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it.
